As a final project for a novel study in the class I had my practicum in, students made paperbag scrapbooks. It was started before my practicum started but I got to see the creativity of the students as they were finishing them up in the first week. The image below is from pinterest but it follows the same format and style.

The students were making them based on adventure books they had read. The requirements for the students were:

  • A map in a pocket
  • Note or letter in a pocket
  • 3 “artifacts” from the book in a pocket
  • Cover with title, author, and the student’s name
  • A page with character descriptions
  • An event from the book
  • List and pictures of items that the characters used to survive.
