Sustainability Education Action Plan

This section of my e-portfolio is a comprehensive plan to further education for sustainable development (ESD) and improve the sustainability of my school. Here you will learn why ESD matters and how it can be implemented with a school-wide approach. The plan reflects what I have learned throughout CONT 920: Leading Change Toward Sustainability in Schools through Queen’s University.

The buttons below can be used to navigate through the plan. Each page has a navigation menu at the top and bottom to go to the another section.

While working on this course, our province and country has been battling a dangerous fire season. It has been a constant reminder of the importance of ESD and the lifestyle and energy shift we need to take as a society. The below stories have been attached as a reminder. This is only a small sample of the many places currently experiencing fires or droughts. Meanwhile, Ontario has been experiencing extreme flooding in addition to fires.
